Weekly Weigh-in (01.03.2015): The Third Number Set Is Lying!!

Saturday, January 03, 2015

##Third Number Lying#####
Well, the numbers don't lie...except for the 3rd set below. I do my first of year weigh-ins after a night of either a nye party or eating a really heavy meal out. Either way, the information I'm giving you is 75% honest.

##Evil Weight Loss Plan#####
This Week I will unhatch the first part of my evil weight loss plan.

##The Numbers:#####
--Weight When I first Started on Spark (@bodyfat)

--Goal Weight

--Weight: 01-January-2015 (Official 2015 Starting Weight)

--This WeekDrum roll.........................

* Down 3.0 pounds!
* exactly 8 pounds away from my goal weight.

Although it's easy to say, I cheated with an inflated weight, I actually lost weight this week (yes on a week involving both New Years as well as Christmas leftovers). Heck my defacto midweek I was 203.2.

##Going Forward
I will no longer post my previous week's weight. I've found it to be a confusing number. I'll gain three pounds and then post a lost of two since the last week and people wonder why I am not happy with that (It's because I've gained a pound).

So going forward, I will post my previous low weight for the year (Now 203.0) as a benchmark.

Wish me best of fortune!

Yeah, I can definitely understand about not posting the previous week's weight. Your weight can fluctuate a lot in a week. Just remember that the scale doesn't tell the whole truth. Going by measurements, how your clothes fit and how you are feeling overall are good measurements to include in the equation. You really aren't that far from goal weight! I can tell you are determined to get the excess weight off and I'm sure you will succeed. Best of luck to you!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I stop posting my wt, too, as it bounces around so much...seemed like I was losing continuously but, alas, that was not the case.
I really try to stay away from the scale, which can rule my world, but weigh in at least once or twice towards the beginning of the month.
I am increasing my protein and F&Vs and decreasing coffee (love cream) and wine.
Also, several folks in my family got fitbits for Xmas and keep sending me these pesky daily challenges, which I feel compelled to accept as I want to encourage them to move more (but I am swimming more this winter, which doesn't count steps!).
Have a great weekend, TD! emoticon
