Getting Ready for the Winter 5% Challenge

I want to gear myself up for a successful challenge. The first two times I did a 5% challenge I lost over 5 percent. The next two weren't as successful. I WILL get back to making a healthy lifestyle a priority once again.

My exercise plan will be varied depending on the weather and my work schedule. Days that its 40 degrees or above and the sidewalks aren't slippery I will go for a walk outside. That's definitely my preferred exercise. When I can't go outside I'll walk inside using a Leslie Sansone walking program or something similar. I'd like to add extra exercise minutes during lunch at work by doing some chair exercises.

My doctor wants me to do more strength training so I will do core exercises 3 days per week.

Making the plan is easy, the challenge is consistently doing it! I'm going to try very hard to be an asset to my team during the Winter Challenge!
