Mario anyone? Ok....
I survived Christmas... house guests, visiting extended family, gifts, piles of sweet treats... well ok. I don't know that I survived the treats. I had more than my fair share... But, I can't un-eat them, so now that they're all gone it's time to get focused again!
I got some things for Christmas to help me with my goals... 2 pairs of running shoes (and a third I snapped up on clearence!), a new yoga mat, and even some reusable water bottles to help me get my water each day. I wonder if I should blog to myself each day of what my plan is? I'm trying to keep my healthy choices at the front of my mind each day.
Today, I pledge to stick to my planned food (so far on track), walk/jog a minimum of 1 mile on the treadmill (and another slow mile walking the dog if it's not raining), and for bonus points, try out that new yoga mat (assuming it has aired out... it had a strong rubbery smell when I first unrolled it!). I will also drink a bottle of water during my walk, and another at dinner / through the rest of the evening to get a full 8 servings in (4 already down).
That is a completely reasonable, do-able plan for the day. And really, one day at a time is all I can do anyway! Yes, I CAN be that girl who just does it. :)
