I have had such a wonderful Christmas! I hope all of you did too! I spent time with my children on Christmas day and went on an hour and a half trip with my two brothers and we sang all the old songs that our parents use to sing to us on the way
When I got back, I went 4 wheel driving with my two sons up in the mountains and it rained the whole time and we had such a blast then stopped at The Wild Hog for BBQ on the way back. The next day wasI spent at my daughters for Christmas with my boys and a couple that grew up with my kids, so they are both dear to me also.
This morning I had breakfast with my sister and brother also.
I have a Magic Bullet, new soft and warm pajamas, a coin sorter, and all the tubes to roll up all my change, and a new pair of driving gloves that are nice and warm, and you can use your touch screen on the phone with them on:)
I was able to get my daughter a Cuisanart that she has been wanting for a long time, and her husband a motion sensor light for their travel traailer, and I got both my boys new xbox contollers, although I got them for the wrong xbox and have to send them back, but I already ordered the right ones and they will get them soon. I got my GD an MP3 player that she has been wanting, and they sent it to me, instead of her, even though it says on the order to ship it to her in Arizona, and last but not least I got my GS a gift card for him and his girl's favorite restaurant.
So things didn't turn out exactly rightt, but all and all it was a very good Christmas! I feel so blessed to have been able to do so much this year. You just don't' know how these past few years, while I was going through treatment, and on SSI, that I couldn't afford to buy them anything for Christmas, and they always understood. It brings tears to my eyes now as I think about how gracious they have been.
Tonight, I went to church with my friend Jackie, and gave thanks for all the many and wonderful blessings I have received! I am so grateful, I don't even know how to fully express it!
