First Christmas

Well it was our first Christmas without my dad...God I miss him..but we celebrated him being at god's dinner table that night and we cherished each other just a little bit more than we did the year before.

    Sorry to hear about your Dad.
    This was my 2nd Christmas without my Dad. Last year he passed away Dec 14, so I don't think we all had time to process it before Christmas hit. This year was very hard. And of course the first ornament I pulled out of the box was the ornament my Mom gave me with his and her pic in it. It was all I could do to keep from crying and not putting any more on the tree. But I just looked at my daughter who was looking at me and put it on the tree - turning it so Mom's pic was showing - and pushed on! We made it through but it was still very hard.
    If you need to talk, or vent, or just you know ramble - message me. I am a good listener and I do understand.
