Reasons for Weight Loss

Initially, one of the main reasons for weight loss was to improve my general health. Since I've joined SparkPeople I've learned to start a journey to change the course of my lifestyle. The new lifestyle incorporates wellness, fitness and positive attitudes. More than I had ever hoped for. Tells me I should hope for higher goals. The sky is the limit!!
Another reason I want to loose weight is for my appearance. I know health should be the main goal, but I have to admit I want to look good too like I used to 25 years ago. Starting to use that 'Hope' thing here.
With Spark, I get it both ways. By pursuing my goal to get healthy and fit, I've already changed my appearance. I'm in the stage where I haven't seen folks in maybe 3 months, they say you've lost weight. Well I've lost 95 lbs but I've observed that some people either don't notice or not comfortable to address your weight loss. I can remember doing the same when I noticed a co-worker's sudden weight loss. I didn't know if it was health related or not. So, I didn't mention it to her. Later, discovered she was on a fad diet.

Another reason for weight loss is to attain and maintain a nice body image of my choice at the insurance weight requirements of 125 lbs.
I think my thighs will be normal at that weight. Lots of work to do.
