Proactive Forgiveness

Saturday, December 13, 2014

Proactive forgiveness provides us with a freedom that rises above rejection, above condescension, above false accusation, above self-reproach for who others think we ought to be. Ripping up bitter roots allows us to move beyond the hurts and into a life abundant, without a need for validation. Proactive forgiveness is true Christianity, truly mimicking Christ, and is one thing to bring us clarity of mind.

Hi George815, if others aren't sorry or willing to communicate, the best thing is to forgive them and not carry the constant wondering if they will ever take the time. I guess that's why I didn't include the attempt to communicate. My experience has always been to do that, and I have had a few people refuse to make the effort in return. I so agree with your comment! It takes work to connect.
