Hope to be more positive to myself

This weekend I talked with a lady who has lost 7 kg from august to this december
She told she writes in a book when she has said no to something fattening - either to herself or to others.
She also has found that it gives benefit to make good food for herself

This makes sense to me. Instead of the wipe I give myself by writing in a book every time I do not make exercise and eat the wrong things has made me sick and tired of trying to loose weight.

I find it fun to track the exercise I do. Tracking when I DID NOT fall into the usual traps may be much more successful than wiping myself and maybe even finding a delight in "being bad"!
My fat history: The most of my life I have been OK slender. When I was 19 years old I had gained weight after a psychological sickness and hospitalisation where exercise was prevented for ½ year. At that time I succeeded in losing 13 kg in 1½ year and maintained my weight for more than 30 years. But when I was 40 I was hospitalized again and put on 20 kg as my metabolism got too low as a result of medication. I haven´t been able to get slender again. It is more difficult after the age of 40. I have succeeded loosing 10 kg but put on 15 right after so this also takes away my motivation of loosing weight. ..Comments are welcome... emoticon

Actually I find it more positive to focus on YES! Yes to drink tea or water with lemon juice in stead of alcohol. - I find it irritating when there only are 2 options at a meeting: alcohol or cofee. I don´t like cofee and alcohol is a bad idear for many reasons.
And when I go to a supermarket it is an exepttion that I buy unhealthy food. Just looking at the package and seeing how many calories it contains usually takes away my temtation.
Left is eating too much..
I have gotten a lot better at exercising.
Hmm - One temptation is left: The computer!!
