Day 3 Thanksgiving Day
I don't want to look at food issues today. DH says how are you going to build inertia if you skip after Day 2. Ugh.
I want to buy stuff. And I am not a shopper. Might be a substitution for misusing food.

Chapter 2 - Put Food In Its Place
Very interesting chapter and actually a good one to read on Thanksgiving morning - both because it encourages savoring food and because it encourages me to be moderate when faced with so much bounty. And it encourages me to stop eating something that turns out to not be great.
Putting food in its place refers to eating for two purposes - to fuel my body and appreciate flavors.
I plan to report back to you tomorrow that I made a point to really savor at least one food today. Don't know what it'll be, but I need to make myself accountable to you.
There will be lots of access today to food between the meal with my in-laws and working at the store tonight. Having something concrete to work on around my food challenges really helps - it takes the pressure off to be perfect.
