Mustache Dash 5k

I made it to the end.....not fast, (58 minutes) but I made it. This photo is with the other walkers on our team.
This one is with my daughter who ran the race.
It was lots of fun. The weather was chilly in the upper 30s but I'd prefer that to a hot day for a fast walk. It was a rather hilly course, and the surprise of the day was when I checked my fitbit at the end of the day and it said I'd climbed 40 flights of stairs. I only went up and down stairs 3 times in the day, so almost all of that was during the race. No wonder I was slower than what it normally takes me to walk 5k.
Oh, and I placed third for my age group......I wasn't the only one that walked the race instead of running!
