A trying Tuesday.

Tuesday, November 18, 2014

My nurse from the VA was suppose to visit around 1pm. About 9 am I called her but only got her voice mail, and so I left a massage to confirm we would meet around 1pm. She didn't call me back until 12:30 pm and would be here at 2pm. She eventually showed up around 2:30 pm. So I one for three and a half hours did not even know if she was still coming, and two I waited for 2 hours I waited for her to come. I would have been fine if she had called earlier with an approximate time of her arrival. It was a decent day and I would of rather been outside walking until she came.

I made our visit as quick as possible, I wanted to get out for a walk and some shopping. I somehow managed to return carrying over 25 pounds of groceries, in my backpack and two reusable bags.

Right before I was ready to spark tonight one of my banks called and asked about two charges on my card they thought were fraudulent, they both were! She told me to destroy the card, they are sending a new card, and also to notify the direct withdrawals on my account. My browser is one of these and the due date is the 20th. So next I am going to take care of this!

What a crappy way to treat a vet! Glad you got through it.

I hate when appointments run late! I waited for my doctor last week for an hour. Crazy!

I would have expressed my frustration with your VA Nurse. How would she have liked it if she showed up and you were not there. It would be a waste of her time just like you waiting for her was a waste of your time and not respectful of you.

I've had my credit card cancelled due to the credit card company catching fraudulent charges too. When I travel out of state I notify them so I'm able to use my card without issue. Better safe than sorry, right?

Wow!!! That's quite the workout carrying 25 lbs of groceries home. emoticon emoticon emoticon

So glad the bank caught those fraudulent charges. We've had our cards or card info stolen a few times, and man is it a pain in the butt!

I AM SO GLAD THE BANK CAUGHT THAT. IT COULD HAVE A TERRIBLE SITUATION. IT IS VERY IRRITATING WHEN SOMEONE SAYS THEY ARE GOING TO COME OR CALL AT A CERTAIN TIME AND THEN THEY DON'T EVEN CALL TO LET YOU KNOW. HOPE TOMORROW IS BETTER.

That was a nightmare with the VA, yet again. And, yes, credit card companies do that. I've had a call placed to me to verify a purchase, which is a good thing. However, they did not issue me a new card. It's strange that if you said everything was okay why they would want to issue you a new card.

Have a wonderful Wednesday, Steven. My dental appointment yesterday went fine and no new work was found to be needed. Praise God!

What an awful day, but I'm so glad the bank was right on top of it. I like that "if you are late, you are a liar!"
Wishing for a better day for you tomorrow! emoticon emoticon

emoticon Steven! That was very uncool of her to not call to confirm and then to be late as well? Unacceptable. There is this saying and I agree with it, "If you are late, you are a liar!"

Sorry about you bank problem too! This seems to be happening all over!

Happy about you making it back with 25 pounds of groceries! Wow, I was carrying around 4 pounds of quail food and my back started hurting me :(

Hope tomorrow is a lot better dear friend!

    Dislike!
Being left in limbo like that is so frustrating.
And then to have to deal with bank fraud! Ergh!
Hope that's all resolved for you quickly.
