I don't think I have ever planned to eat over a pound of yellow squash or a full bag of SteamFresh broccoli, but I hate to admit I have. Another downside of eating a specific vegetable in excess is that you almost guarantee that you won't get the variety of fruits and vegetables you need for optimal nutrition. You are full of one thing. You'll get way too much of one nutrient and not enough of another. You need that rainbow of different colors, tastes and textures. Moderation is, or at least has been for me, a very difficult lesson to learn. But moderation, even of freggies, is needed.
