Claim Wonderful
Monday, November 17, 2014
A couple of weeks back when I was checking out at the grocery store, the clerk asked me how I was doing. I replied that I was doing 'very well.' I wanted to say that I was in pain and things were not so good and so on. But then reality set in and I know that she did not really want to hear all of my problems. I am thinking maybe, if I keep a good attitude that I will feel better.
So, last week when I went to that same grocery store, I had to ride in a mobile cart. A lot of pain that day. When the clerk was checking my groceries she ask me how I was doing. I replied, 'Wonderful.'
I really want to be wonderful, so I might as well claim it.
On occasion I have had a clerk ask me, 'Are you alright?' It is then that I realize that the pain I am feeling is showing on my face. I try not to show it, but that pain will contort my face.
Even when I am in pain, I hope I remember that I am wonderful.
Blessings to all.
