Woods Sprints

Monday, November 17, 2014

Just a short one:
I'm trying and routinely failing to carve out time to exercise. One of my more successful ventures in previous years was running at my MILs house before Sunday dinner. She's a widow so we routinely arrive at around 3pm so that my husband can help with any heavy lifting necessary. This means there is usually plenty of sitting around time. Yesterday, I brought the reflective blaze orange vest and hat (its hunting season) and went for a walk in the woods interspersed with fits of fast running whenever I darned well felt like it.

This morning, when I enter my information into spark, it seems like the average speed was faster than when I was trying to run the entire way. Its definitely food for my thoughts.
