Today has seen me spending much time driving in the van and sitting in waiting rooms. But...before we got there it was off to the gym for "me" time with the trainer!
Josh the trainer was very accommodating of my current needs with the tendonitis still flaring up on my ankles and with needing to be very careful with the intensity of the cardio and amount of fitness time until next month. He did have to switch up his very organized plan for me today a little, but not as much as I thought. One thing I am really enjoying about the new trainer is that he has got me back out on the weight machines for circuits and not so much time on the ground working core. He was able to add another machine circuit for the legs that would not put stress on the ankles. Thankful as I really didn't want to stop the trainer.
Once home I got school finished with the kids before heading out for Isaac's counseling appointment. I am thinking we wills top with these in December or by January. Not very helpful as Isaac can control the sessions with unnecessary conversations.
I had about 20 minutes home to get lunch accomplished before needing to leave to meet my dad for his doctor appointment. Another 2 1/2 hours just like yesterday. I was glad that his doctor saw the need for a scan of his back though to rule out any compression fracture or disc issues and thankfully the tech figured out how to get the area needed while dad sat in his wheelchair. Whew! Then I raced home to get Maegann and take her across town for Bible study. Talked Tim into working late so he could go pick her up. Glad I did as I barely had dinner in the oven by 5 p.m.
Tonight we need to go visit dad and I need time to try and put a link on the co-op website as we are trying out a new online registration thing. I don't know how to do it as I didn't create the website...I just know how to edit what is there...sort of. LOL
Tomorrow is the 9th weigh-in for the Emeralds. Can't believe the Fall challenge is almost over. We've had a rough season with personal stuff for so many of the members. It's good we've had each other to keep encouraging the process.
Tomorrow: get the backs of Maegann's re-pierced ears (I don't even try anymore with the locking backs.), school, Isaac's therapy and then possibly WinterJam. I think we're leaning towards not going this year though because of the cold weather and the forecast says snow.
