I'm struggling lately! I was starting to get back on track with my exercise and doing well, but I just can't seem to get that workout in like I should! I had all intentions of going downstairs and running on the treadmill last night and then time escaped me! Tonight it is. I MUST do this! Tonight is my day for a 2 mile run + some strength training. Easy enough. Today it is.

Tomorrow is supposed to be my "rest" day for exercise, but since I haven't officially exercised since last Wednesday, I think I'll run. :) Maybe I'll do the 4.5 miles I was supposed to do on Saturday! I need to keep up with my training schedules and get back in shape. I need to be running long distance by the spring!!

For dinner, I am making this new recipe: Savory Chicken Casserole (http://www.heandsheeatclean.c
sserole.html). It's dairy free, gluten free and "Paleo." We must make gluten free meals for my son who is allergic to dairy, and for myself who still nurses him. It's surprisingly easy to be dairy free! As for gluten, we do minimal, but we are not a gluten free family. I just happened to think this recipe sounded good!

So my goal was to be 115# by Christmas, but I just don't think that's happening. I'm holding steady around 130# even as I've been doing better here and there (although I know I haven't been consistent). I would definitely like to be 126# by Thanksgiving. That would be 2# per week and kind of pushing it for me, but usually when I get strict I can drop 2-3# pretty quickly - just that extra 'junk" in my body that I flush out with water and by eating less food and cleaner meals.

Here we go. Here's to 4# in two weeks!
