It is a Walk in the Park!
Tuesday, November 11, 2014
We had a surpisingly beautiful day here in Pennsylvania. The sun was shining and it was 70 degrees, which is really warm for mid-November. I decided I had to take advantage of the great weather, so I laced up my walking shoes, clipped on my Spark Activity Tracker, grabbed my dog, Justice, and headed over to the park.
This was my longest walk yet (3 miles), since returning to SP and, believe me, I wasn't setting any speed records. But that didn't matter. It felt really good to be outside and, believe it or not, I think my body is already starting to respond to the exercise after only a week and a half. Don't get me wrong; it's still tough and I still have aches and pains, BUT IT'S GETTING BETTER!
I had a really nice time on my walk and took lots of pictures. When I got home, I decided to put them into a short video so you all could walk with me. I also wanted it to be something I can use going forward to remind me of this day and to motivate me to keep going.
Hope you enjoy!
