My start to the week

Tuesday, November 11, 2014

Yesterday was good day for me. I lost weight for my weigh in and got in my run. I also was able to work from home in the morning and afternoon as I had an off site meeting. My run wasn't the best I've done. For some reason my right calf seemed to tighten up on me and even with a little extra walking I had to push myself through it. So I finished but it was much lower in miles. Figure tomorrow when I run I will make sure to put on my knee brace. Don't know if my stride is off because I'm landing wrong due to not wanting to cause more pain to my knees. So on Wed I will do that and see how it goes. Food and everything else has been right on and I've been finding things daily that I love about me. Yesterday I fell in love with the "cool" mom that I am. I drove my daughter and her friend to school and they laughed the whole way there...that's a win in my book! Today I love my skin. What I mean is I love the natural glow it has and how I can tell with the less junk I'm putting into my body it is starting to show with my beautiful skin!

Both my calves get tight sometimes too...even within the first 5 minute walk. I just keep pushing thought and it does eventually wear down ... I think (wonder) if it's because we are really working our muscles now...

My calf muscles get tight when I run sometimes too. It seems to happen more on days that I workout after work so I wonder if it has something to do with sitting at my desk most of the day.

Good job with pushing through and completing your workout. emoticon

Congrats!!! My R knee has been tweaking on me, apropos of nothing, but so far I've been able to just slow down/keep truckin'... emoticon
