One Day at a Time...November 6

One step at a time, one day at a time. I'm feeling good this week. What I've done:

1.) Tuesday I went back to the gym and worked out for an hour (cardio & weights)
2.) I have committed to drinking a bottle of water before drinking my daily Diet Coke. Today is day 3, and it's working out well!
3.) I'm making healthier choices in small increments. While I cooked dinner last night, I munched on carrots. I brought a pair to work yesterday and had that as a snack. I found some protein snack packages that I like to keep me satisfied until lunch or in the afternoon.
4.) Skipped the McRib and got a Subway sandwich, and at Panda Express I picked out a veggie filled plate of food.

So, GO ME! Small victories lead to a big reward. I have a lot of room for improvement, but by taking doing these in small increments the change doesn't feel so overwhelming.

Today is another gym day for me. My goal is 25 minutes of cardio, and 20 minutes of weight training.
