The VA is confused

About 6 weeks ago I applied for a COMPETENCY REVIEW. When I divorced 12 years ago I was assigned a Fiduciary or Rep-Payee. The main reason, bluntly, was my ex-wife spent...spent...spent the money and maxed all my credit. I declared bankruptcy. Over the past 12 years working with my Fiduciary, we have paid all my bills on time and have established decent credit.
With my VA Doctor's approval and my Fiduciary, I applied for a Competency Review, for The VA to determine if I am capable to handle my VA Pension funds. Somehow, someone at the VA thinks I am applying for COMPENSATION!
This may be why I had been getting migraines. I was worried about this and frustrated that the VA is confused. I just decided not to be concerned, because I know I will continue to receive my benefits, it just takes time finding someone in the VA who knows how to do their job. One thing I have learned is how to be a patient, patient with the VA, surprisingly and eventually it all works out in the end!
