Down yet another lb....and yes my scales are working ;-)

Am monitoring my weight daily this week as I find it motivates me to stay the course and move forward...
The 8 lb swing was and up and down spike....brought on by pizza, wine, a rare day of refined sugar intake (Happy Hallowe'en) and lots of advil taken for a few consecutive days....I have to say it is probably the largest short-term water retention episode I've encountered to date....
I am down nearly another full pound today, which was unexpected as yesterday was a bit salty
Doobs....I had to chuckle when I read your comment....I actually have what I call a 'fat spot' on my bathroom floor...when I put my scale there it adds 5 lbs to the weight...Sunday morning, I must have moved my scale to 4 different spots thinking that I must be on the fat spot!
Continuing on plan today - got another good workout in this morning, eating clean, drinking my water, ditching alcohol. In a few more days I expect I'll be at my 'true' current weight, and I can turn my attention to the real goals, which are to get back in great shape, and feel well, healthy and energetic once again.
