Don't Let Your Weight Hold You Back

I've been wanting to be Silk Spectre (Sally Jupiter), from the graphic novel and movie The Watchmen for the past three years, but I was waiting. I was waiting to reach my goal weight. I put it off. I wanted to look as "best" as I possibly could in this costume. And I felt my body wasn't ready for this costume, as it is fairly revealing.
And this year I decided to start embracing the body I have, after a few yrs. of maintaining my 100 lb. wt. loss, and the scale not budging. And in fact, the scale has gone up recently.
But, I decided I was going to be my dream Halloween costume in spite of all that. I am proud of myself for making this decision. I felt GREAT and even though I want to get to that goal weight, eventually, in my body's own time, I am NOT going to hold myself back from doing things I love. I will NOT let my weight determine who I can be.
