Silly things I do to loose weight or maintain

Several times a week I get asked questions about loosing weight and maintaining my weight....
for those who don't know I lost 200+ pounds and come Dec. I have maintained that weight loss....yes it amazes me too....
I have to be honest some days it's really hard some days not so bad and some days just plain silly...I tend to look for the positive in each day....so this morning as I read a message from a very nice women ...asking me HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU DO IT.....LOL
I decided to write a blog about what I do....well what silly things I do...as we all know to loose weigth you eat less and exercise more....it really is that easy...BUT THEN AGAIN THATS THE HARD PART TOO...JUST HOW DO WE EAT LESS AND NOT FEEL DEPRIVED, AND LIKE WE ARE STARVING.....

HERE IS JUST A FEW THINGS i DID YESTERDAY....THIS MIGHT BE A DAILY THING IF i HAVE THE CHANCE TO BLOG EVERYDAY...IF YOU HAVE ANY GOOD ONES SHARE WITH US..

THE FIRST SILLY THING I DO EACH MORNING IS STRETCH MY FINGER AND HANDS BEFORE I GET OUT OF BED....THEN i GET MY PEDOMETER ON

2. then I go brush my teeth...I march for the 2 minutes it takes to brush( I use and electric tooth brush so I know it's at least 2 minutes...then 1 minute while I swish my mouth....THAT USUALLY BRINGS ME TO 450-500 STEPS
SO there you go 3 minutes of exercise and I have not even dressed yet.... emoticon this small act seems to get me started for my day of healthy steps...AND when I see 500 steps my brain lights up...yep 500 steps is a quarter of a mile....I give myself a pat on the shoulder and say good job women...you are on your way to a healthy happy day....then I thank the Lord for giving me a strong body and mind....
now this might sound silly to others but this is how I start my day and end my day....so just that small act gives me 6 minutes of exercise....

WHAT CAN YOU DO EACH DAY TO GIVE YOU A SMALL PAT ON THE SHOULDER AND SAY...GOOD JOB...

I learned from sparkpeople way back in 2006 small steps add up....and truly they do....

Have a healthy day ....being silly can pay off in a big way...
