Must get in the mindset: ready to tackle the day! I've got so much I want to get done today, but I'm going to have to be on the go all day! I want to do this, I want to be up and going more, I want to get this stuff done, and I don't want to be lazy! Yesterday I let myself be lazy for a while because I had an anxiety attack and needed a break. Today I've changed my plans (mostly because all of my exercise clothes are dirty and I need to do laundry!) to not going anywhere today, we'll go tomorrow when we all have clean clothes. I don't know why I always let the laundry get this bad, but I do. There for a while I was doing one load of laundry a day, but that didn't last long, need to get into that habit again!!
I've found that bed time is an awful food time for me. I'm used to going to bed with that very full feeling in my tummy and I need to get used to not. So far, the last two days, I've gotten up and had PB & honey at bed time. Or shortly after. Need to stop that. Extra calories, and I need to get used to my tummy being satisfied, not overly full.
I'm so tired. I want to go back to bed, but I know if I do I'll just be getting up in a few minutes, so what is the point? But my bed is beckoning to me! I'll live. Maybe if I clean the sheets on the bed today I won't be tempted to sleep on it! No naps!!
For the rest of the week food is going to be a hard balance. I didn't pick up anything special for snacks except for yogurt and granola. And DH picked up some grilled frozen chicken breasts. I'm going to try to eat my normal foods, just smaller portions. Maybe take my lunch and halve it for 1130 and 1330. I'm going to boil some eggs, that will be great for protien for early morning. I'm going to try to make my own quinoa bars today, they look pretty yummy and easy, but who knows how they will turn out. I have my Juice Plus bars I can have and I bought a salad mix and mixed veggies to go with it. I have frozen broccoli and squash/zuchini mix. Yeah, I should be set for meals.
Today my meals will be:
~Yogurt with 1/4 cup granola
~Juice Plus bar
~Grilled chicken breast and squash/zuchini mix (1/2 for one meal 1/2 for another)
~ Apple with 2 tbsp of peanut butter
That should be enough for today. I may switch some things out depending on my time restraints, but that is the gist of it.
Not working out today. No clean workout clothes (but I will remedy that today) I'm going to be up and moving a lot more than usual (at least I hope I will be) so that should burn some extra calories. Also going to do what we've been doing and set the timer for 60 minutes and stretch/exercise/walk every time it goes off. My girls love doing this.
This is Pickles, the puppy who only loves his squeaky toy at 0600 in the morning on Saturday's, lol. I'm hoping when we go to the park we can take him with us and he can walk the mile with us. Don't know how that will work out, but we are going to give it a try. He's a bouncy dog, you'd think his little legs were made out of springs he bounces so much. Should have named him Tigger, :)
Praying that I can have enough motivation and energy to get done all I need to do today. I don't even have a list, just a general idea of what needs to be done. Guess I should make a list for today and the next few days to make sure I actually get it all done! This is going to be like my Spring Cleaning Week, only I can't take a break from homeschooling to do it. This should be interesting.
I made my first spice cake yesterday! My husband said it was very good, but a bit strong on the ginger. So next time I'll halve the ginger and see how that does. Spice cake is my DH's favorite cake, so I'm hoping to have the recipe down to an art by his birthday!
Today I will:
Follow my meal plan and not eat anything extra
drink 64 oz of water - been having a hard time with that
Make and do my to do list
