Celebrating too much

Yesterday we started off being on track, but it was my husbands birthday and I wanted to make sure he didn't feel deprived or missing out, but I felt that was a cop out. It would have been fine to have a splurge on one special meal for his birthday, but no, we had to have pizza for lunch, Chinese for dinner, cake for dessert, plus some candies and snacks during the day. I don't feel guilty about having one splurge but once we did the first splurge felt we could do it all day.
But today were back on track, put the guilt behind me, and realize that we are going to have special celebrations and meals in which we want to splurge, but we don't need to do it all day long. On to the next challenge!
