Ugh, It kills me to type day 1.... AGAIN

After a 30 pound loss for the wedding, I am finding it so hard to get back on track and really find a true motivation. I do not have a motivation. I have gained 20 back of the 30 lost...

I am getting back to the gym to find that happy feeling of losing weight again. Even if it is .1 pound per week, I miss the scale going down. I miss the feeling of my clothes not being tight, I miss the feeling of "Wow, I see a difference in you" from my husband or friends. I miss the good moods I was in everyday and that I didn't let the little stresses get me down. I miss the happiness the working out gave me. And I miss the extra energy the workouts provide me...

Today is day one of the gym. I want to go three days a week... Four on the days hubby works weekends for one month. I will increase after that.

Goals. That is the key.

Goal one: Prove you can go to the gym three days the week of 10 / 13 / 14

    The important thing is you're starting over. It's better to be at day 1 then to continue down the road to bad habits.

    It sounds like you have a great goal and you'll lose those 20 pounds that you have gained in no time.

    I am so with you, hun. At least you didn't gain it all back and then more! We have to look at the positives. The good news is that you know that you can lose the weight. You've done it before. Now is the time to find that motivation, which it looks like you have. Remember all of those feelings from when you lost the weight and how great you felt. Let's work towards feeling that again.

    We can do this and I'm here for you every step of the way!!

    Don't think about it as starting completely over. You just have to get going again.. the good news is you know what you need to do. Right? You know what works for you.. after all you lost 30 pounds.

    You're on the right track, you have a plan. With each workout it will become easier to do the next one. Start your streak today! It's time to think about what you need, schedule those workouts and don't cancel. If you made a date with your husband or friend, would you cancel? No...so don't cancel on yourself.
