Ok for those of you who are not on my face-book page my biopsy came back normal. My ENT found that the node was larger than he an anticipated closer to 2 cc and weird shaped and some calcification with mild inflammation but otherwise no cancer.
Had some sad news when I went to my Rheumatologist the other day. He is retiring in December and it was my last visit with him. I have been seeing him since early 1997 and it just made me so sad. My hubby and I feel he has kept me alive and going all these years. He will truly be missed by me and all of his other patients. Seems all of my doctors are retiring or passing away, I guess this is what happens as you get older. Now all my doctor are young and look like they just came out of medical school, new ideas are good, but experience can be a blessing.
I leave to AZ on the 22nd to visit with my daughter as she is having surgery on the 23rd, so I will be there for a few days. I will return on the 27th., my friend Irene will be picking me up at John Wayne Airport, which I think is 10-15 miles from here. Jeff has a colonoscopy scheduled for the 27th & Frank will be taking him for that test in the morning. Jeff has a stress test the next morning, which the doctor told me I should go with him, just in case?
Weather was very cool this morning, very overcast and I thought we had fall at last. I came home and turned off the AC, opened the windows but now the sun is starting to burn the clouds away and the heat is coming on strong, suppose to hit 88 degrees by noon. Still was nice to have the windows open for a few hours.
