Life Changin' Events

Friday, October 10, 2014

Hubby and a friend are taking down a huge ash tree in our back yard today. This one is right by the patio and has given a lot of shade thru the years. But it is almost all dead branches so it is time. We took its "partner" down a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't thought too much about it until my youngest daughter texted "that's so sad". It is another "loss" in our lives. We are in the process of selling hubby's parents' house that he and his sister inherited when his dad passed in February. We had an estate sale the last weekend in June so the house stands empty. My MIL moved back to south Texas where her family and children live. My older daughter moved to Canyon and is working there and pursuing her doctorate in speech pathology.

Life is really changed for us. emoticon Si-i-i-i-gh!

Yes, life marches on and there is a pattern to it....I also am in the 'loss' pattern.
But we have many good memories!

I'm rarely comfortable with change; unless, of course, I initiated it. But somehow, things always seem to work out for the best. You're such a positive person I'm sure they will for you, too.

Yes, lots of changes for you, but why not make a list of positive things and things to look forward to! When life hands you lemons, make lemonade!

Make a list of things to look forward to...well, yeah, a bucket list.
