Day 467: Sorry for the hiatus!

So now that I'm in graduate school, it's been A LOT more difficult to keep up with schoolwork, gym, SP, and eating healthy. Unfortunately the ones that suffered most were the eating healthy and logging on. I've gotten into a fitness routine which requires suuuper early mornings but I feel is worth it because then I go through the rest of my day feeling pretty good.
I started going to spin classes about 2 weeks ago now... AND I LOVE IT!! Spin keeps me focused on the ride and not so much on when it will be over. It's fun, it gets my legs moving, and I'm hoping it'll help me get down about 5lbs for my end-of-October goal of 220.
What's been tricky is the eating thing. I try to be sure I pack enough for during the day but with leftovers and the occasional desserts and things in the psych office where I work, I've struggled with my self-control. I know I used to be so good about it so my hope is to get back to the mentality where I allow for rewards but stop justifying them ALL THE TIME like I have been.
I'm hoping after midterms that I'll be able to settle into a SP routine again, but I cannot really make any promises since that's a month away... It was much easier to focus when I just worked and didn't bring things home with me. Oh the joys of higher education!!
