3 Reasons to Change

It's easy to say I am going to lose weight. It's a simple concept: eat well & exercise. I know this formula yields results. So WHY is it so difficult to follow through with? Here are three things that are my current "wake-up call":
1. I just got my school pictures back. OMG my face is so fat. That's not the face I see in the mirror, but the pics show me what others see. It's time to change.
2. My nine-year-old asked me if I will play football with him when I weight 150 (my goal weight). How sad is it that my current weight has me so out-of-shape that I don't play with my kids?! It's time to change.
3. I cleaned out my closet yesterday. I pulled out 25 pairs of pants that I cannot fit into. I stacked them by size 14, 12, 10, 9, 8, and 7. I decided to put all of them into plastic tubs and only keep the pants that fit me in my closet. The result? 3 pairs (size 18) - 1 khaki, 1 gray, 1 jeans. I went shopping yesterday and bought two pairs of size 16 (they're also too small at this point). It's time to change.
