October Goals

I've decided to pick five fitness goals each month to really focus on and try to turn them into habits. This month, after much consideration, I choose the following five goals:
1--Track ALL food and activity and stay in range every day of the month

2--Make it a point to eat at least five fruits and/or vegetable servings per day.

3--Drink 8 cups of water per day. I drink only coffee and water, but I still seem to only drink about 6 cups per day. One more refill on my water bottle, and I'll be at closer to 9.

4--JUST DON'T BUY IT--I am going to focus on not buying junk. Just don't bring it into the house. The kids don't need it, my husband doesn't need it, and I surely don't need it. I know my trigger foods and for the life of me, I don't know why I keep buying them. I guess I think "I'll just eat ONE this time" but it never happens. Just don't buy it! Since I do 90% of all the grocery shopping, this should eliminate a LOT of my bad habit junk food eating.

5--Meal planning--make a weekly menu before going to the store so we are prepared to cook and eat something healthy every night. This is a big issue for me with working full time and trying to fit everything in! I've been flirting with doing this, but this month, I want to make it a strong focus so it becomes something we just always do.
