Commit and Conquer!

The move was the most work I've done in all my moves. With few hands and a tight time slot... it was a stressful day but overall it went well. I slept for the first night alone in the new place and woke just after 5am to start all over again. I've already cleared boxes to at least put them in the appropriate area. I have a few more car loads to do and I will need some help with a few things - so I'm not sure when that will happen.
Plans for now is to shower, unload the last carload I brought last night and wait for the property guys to come in - my fridge (the one I have isn't working so I'm thankful that I have a few days of 'transition' to finish off the move).
Here's a few pics of the view from my balcony. It's going to take getting used to the traffic but I've lived on a highway before and I know I will adjust. Today - I'm going to go pay off my couch/loveseat and get it delivered sooner than next weekend - I'm ready!!
Watching the sun rise - the beautiful fall colors... All is well in my world and I'm extremely grateful to my gf's hubby and brother and additional gf who helped yesterday. I'm certainly feeling all the lifting and work I did yesterday and there's much more to do. I think I'll book an extra day off because I need the time - between finishing off at the other place, cleaning up and setting up here.
Here's a pic of the 'communal' BBQ area that tenants can use. I was given an electric grill though from my former neighbor.
It's been an experience - and it still feels surreal in some ways... October will be my 'new beginning' as I hope to be ready by then to get back to my health routine!
To all of you my SP friends for your wonderful wishes, notes and goodies! I'm truly blessed!
