Today has not been the greatest, pain-wise. My energy levels are crap, but I really didn't get a huge amount of sleep last night so that is not surprising. I just hate these days where I am tired because it makes it so much harder to ignore the chronic pain that I have been living with for so long. My hips, knees and fingers are very stiff today. I see the rheumatologist in two weeks, so maybe there will be more news or maybe a different treatment plan.
This morning I went to the local market with my mother and we picked up some lovely veggies and peaches. I can't get enough peaches these days. They are so incredible this year!
Between the market and a local farm that is near the barn where my horse is boarded, we have found some amazing deals on produce. It has cut our grocery bills down greatly this summer. I am not looking forward to the winter prices, or the cold weather really. I love the fall. warmer days, cool nights, gorgeous colours, the smell of wet leaves... what is not to like?
I cleaned up my computer with compressed air today. The amount of dust that blew out of it was phenomenal. It has been overheating a lot, so I figured I should just get off my butt and deal with it. I also pulled out my battery since it last 30 minutes tops. I can't believe how much cooler my computer is running, even when I play an online game that has always been a cause of the overheating. Now if I could only renew my membership so I can actually access the full game, but that it a concern for another, more flush with cash, time.
Anyway, must walk the dogs, and then I am taking some medication and going to bed with a book and a warm shi-poo named Eliza. Tomorrow I am hoping to ride, even if I have to take it easy a bit. It won't hurt Ellie or I to just do a quiet trail ride. It might do us both good to get out of the ring too.
