Snacking Struggle

I got up and did 30 min on the elliptical again this morning. It is good to have daily goals again - it sure keeps me focused!

I still struggle with snacking. I followed the nutrition plan except for snacks. It is so hard when I have to feed the daycare kids and I want the same thing ie banana bread. Plus my daughter made Chocolate Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies - hard to resist. I have made a note now and put on cookie jar...."Carrie - NO COOKIES!" Hoping I'll do better tomorrow.

I finished quilting the fourth quilt. I plan on making the binding and putting it on tomorrow. I have a wonderful husband worked the background & header on my website tonight- it is close to being ready.

My Daily Goals: Day 2 of 100 - 9/24

1. Track ALL food & exercise emoticon 2/2
2. Drink 8-10 glasses of water (minimum of 64 oz) emoticon 2/2
3. Exercise a minimum of 30 minutes emoticon 2/2
4. Eat 5 servings of freggies emoticon 2/2
5. Follow trainer's eating plan emoticon 0/2
6. Blog Daily emoticon

    I've been substituting fruit for sweets like cookies/candy. It works to curb my sweet tooth, and gets me closer to my 5/day. I'd also suggest putting the cookies in an opaque container so you can't see them (I can ignore something as long as it isn't visible), and having a bowl of apples, pears, or whatever fruit you like on the counter so if you're actually a little hungry, you'll be more likely to grab the fruit.

    Will power can by hard, but you can do it!! Set your healthy snack out first before serving the kiddies as a reminder and then stick to it. If you're like me, one cookie is never enough, so I have to stay away from them!

    If you had a bad day don’t worry we have a reset button called tomorrow cookies also have my number can you figure them into you food plan we can have a treat one cookie not 2 is what i tell my self emoticon
