Starting the week off right!

Today was a really good day. Although I got started late, it was a success. I exceeded my calories a little, but got in quite a bit of exercise. I did 2 miles of Walk Slim and 30 minutes of HHA. I'm very proud of myself. Last night I ate way too much at the graduation party. However, I ate a great deal less than I would have had I not been trying to follow a plan. I tried to avoid the alcohol. When I was offered a jello shot, I couldn't resist. Surprisingly, or should I say, thankfully, I didn't like it. I'm so thankful that I have instilled good eating habits in my daughter. Although I wasn't with her when she prepared her plate, she selected carrots, celery and tomatoes. My son, on the other hand, was upset with me because I wouldn't allow him to have a second brownie. I was successful in getting him to join me in the Walk Slim video. Since the school year is finally over, I now have more time to practice a healthy lifestyle. Hopefully, the scale will be friendly next week.
