Getting faster

I did my first 6 mile run today. Ran it in 66 minutes. I had to walk 3 times because of hills. There are 8 steep hills on the route we took. Very proud of myself for the time and distance I did. I wanted to prove to myself that I could run a 10k. I'm going to work on the time for next year. I want to do a 10k race in the spring in under 60 minutes.

    Nice improvement on your 10K times! You should have no problem reaching your HM goal. I did my first in 2:29:38, but I've also done one in 2:34:38 and I did my last in 2:12:07, so I've improved a lot, with some missteps along the way. Best wishes on your first HM.

    I have done 2 10 k's so far. My first one was 1:04:56, the second was 59:46! Doing my first half marathon on November 1st. Goal is 2 1/2 hours.
