Hungry Day

I have been hungry since waking today. It's not emotional or boredom. I did not eat all the food in my tracker yesterday as I was not hungry and it seemed silly to eat it. Now I am paying the price. I shall exercise this afternoon, that usually banished least for a little while.

    If you are doing serious walking, then you really should have some nutrient dense food in your tummy. I always make sure that I have eaten before I walk, especially breakfast.

    I tried walking before breakfast, and that was a no go.

    My husband who ran marathons always ate a good breakfast before doing his Saturday morning runs. That's a word to the wise.

    So I eat 3 meals a day, and a good 150 to 200 calorie snack in between meals. I basically try to keep my calories for meals equal, sometimes with the exception of breakfast, which may be more, or maybe lunch may have more calories.

    But if I eat about 4 meals & snacks all together that are about 350 calories, then it's about 1400 calories. This is 150 less from the high end of the range of calories which I am allotted, and believe me, I do eat those calories, especially if I am walking for at least an hour a day at a brisk pace. Then sometimes I will do another half hour or another hour.

    I just don't over eat but eat consistently throughout the day which works very well for me and keeps my metabolism burning.
