BLC26 Expectations

The more I get into this round (and it's only been a couple of days) the more I want to focus on developing better eating habits than caring about what the scale says. Yes I would love to get back under 150lbs but at this point in my life and almost 41 married with 2 little ones, I just want to be strong and healthy. I don't want to spend the rest of my life chasing a number on the scale. I want to be a healthy example to my daughter and be able to live a long active life with my kids and DH. I really feel that if I can tweak my eating habits and keep up my fitness level that the scale will take care of itself.
Eating habits I need to tweak are:
- No mindless snacking (portion out everything)
- Tracking every BLT
- Eating more protein at least 100g daily
- Consuming less carbs. I'd like to keep it at a 1:1 ration with the protein but that hasn't happened yet. So at this point, I'd like to keep it under 200g daily aiming for under 150g daily.
- Going sugar free
- Staying away from my intolerant foods and trying to work some back in and see how my body responds.
That's about it for now and I think it's even to work through during these 12 weeks. I hope at that by the end of this round that these will be consistent habits and I'm very happy with the results.
