Broken water main!

Wednesday, September 03, 2014

We literally JUST got our new sewer lines, water mains and completely new one mile of road that took four months to complete.. I just came home from errand-running. Halfway down the street on our side, there is water shooting everywhere on a neighbor's driveway!! If they have to tear up the new road that we waited 30 years to get($1.5 MILLION) there are going to be some screaming heads in this county!!!! Last week was the first week with no construction.. we will see... DD is at dad's house with my ex to try to fix the Junk Deere tractor.. Again, another belt has come off two pulleys this time.. Last month it was the other belt on other pulleys.

Everybody get ready for a shocker! My health insurance card came in the mail yesterday.. I did not get the mail until this morning, but almost fainted when I saw it..BUT! instead of being able to sit down and figure out what pharmacy, etc to use, this darned tractor has us all up in arms. I hope I do not have to go to walgreens for my meds, but I am sure I will..DD has same insurance and she does.

More phone calls to make.. got to take DD car to get electrical repaired too,,

Know the feeling. We had a ton of water main breaks this past winter. Anywhere from a block down the street to across town. Hope that we don't we get anymore.

Woo Hoo! Insurance Card! Do you think it took long enough .. Geez!
What's the deal with your Walgreens that you do not want to go there?

Sounds like you have a real watery mess on your hands... I hope whatever the problem is, it is an inexpensive fix. I would hate to think the county spent so much time and money putting in a road to tear the thing out and start the process again only a week later. Let us know how your neighborhood fairs.

Despite of everything else going wrong, I'm sure it's a relief to finally have that insurance card in your hands, I know what a struggle it was to even get it. emoticon

UGH!! Sorry to hear about your water. Especially since it's been such a long process.

Check to see if your prescriptions can be mailed to you. Some plans allow you to purchase your maintenance drugs in 3 month intervals.

Bet there are some really unhappy people about that water main break!

Oh man, it stinks about the tractor. I hope your DD can get it back up and running.

Woo hoo about your insurance card! That's awesome!

My word, I to hope your road doesn't have to be dug up, that would be a shame. I guess I have to ask, why don't you want to get your drugs at Walgreens? Have you had a problem with them. I have gotten my drugs from ours for about 3 years now, cause bigger Co. was buying up all our local Ma and Pa Pharmacy's and then closing them. I refuse to go to Wal Mart and that was the only other choice, so I have been satisfied there, even though they don't know my name when I walk in the door. Just curious.
