September

Tuesday, September 02, 2014

It's a new month, so I am hoping to stay on track w/ the eating & exercise. Yesterday we walked in the morning and then went on an evening bike ride. That was a total of about 5 miles exercise. There are big hills to climb for our walk. I think I overdid it, because woke this morning feeling a little stressed [physically]. Moderation is key.

Hope you all are doing well. One-day-at-a-time.

This picture is where we biked to [the view from under our town's only bridge]. It connects the two islands. The further island is where our airport is located.

Yes! A new month and new or renewed goals. By the end of September, we should be feeling dryer air here in the central Gulf Coast of Florida. Soooooo looking forward to it. As a kid growing up here, I loved summer, but as I get older, I find I love Fall even more--I don't spend the summers free from responsibilities, can't get out on the beach--too much sun, heat, and humidity for me now, especially now that I have to work for a living. Boo! August was a stressful month, but things have calmed down now, and I too am planning to keep on track--consistent exercise as well as staying on track with my food. My best to you. Your pics are really soothing. I need to start going to the beach in the evenings, after work, after the blazing day, and just in time to enjoy the beauty of the Gulf and our amazing sunsets. It really makes you feel the sense of where you are in God's great world and appreciate it!
