So, it's a little after 2 in the morning and I'm awake. I actually fell asleep for about an hour, and I hope to get a few more hours of sleep before I have to go to work, but who know's?

I've been looking at various Spark People pages and articles and team things.....and it has helped keep my mind off of the sleep I'm missing....a little bit, anyway. And I've been trying to figure out what is contributing to this problem at the moment. 1. I wasn't active enough today. 2. Late afternoon is when I have time for exercise, so that's when I've been doing my hiking, which then revs me up too much and makes it difficult to sleep. Sigh. The only solution I can see is to try to get to bed early enough to be able to get up & go walking or do other exercises no later than 5:30a.m. However, if I can't get to sleep I can't get up early and still function at work. Not an insurmountable problem, but a pesky one.

Anyway, all the Spark activity I've been doing tonight has been keeping me out of the kitchen....which is great because when I am so tired and can't sleep what my body and/or mind wants me to do is eat. And I think I'll call that success.
