Spent the last few days looking at my eating habits and finding my triggers. I KNOW how to lose weight. I thought I had a good gripe on the healthy lifestyle I had achieved ----but it slipped away.

In order for me to move forward I need ed to analyze my eating habits - and that's what I've been doing.
I've been monitoring my food intake. I've been looking at "when" I eat, "what" I'm choosing and how I'm feeling at the time. I've noticed a pattern. This is the pattern that has contributed to the seemingly endless cycle of losing, gaining, losing, gaining....... emoticon

Now I can come up with a plan that will not only get me where I want to be but will help me stay there. Time to set my goals and devise my strategy to achieve them.

    You go, girl! I've been doing pretty much the same thing. In 2005, I was using the WonderSlim program - it's like Medifast, only less expensive, and it worked really well for me. I need structure and easy.... This had structure and it was easy. But it's primarily "frankenfood" - lots of chemicals and crap. Funny how getting older makes you care more about being healthy than being thin - I started eating real food, and progressed to eating as clean, organic and natural as I can afford. And let me tell you, on a limited budget, that's not easy! I also have tried several diet programs that are organic, and very good for you, and the food I like on the program is way too expensive or the program itself if unbearably restrictive. So now, I'm trying to find a program that I can live with - A structured program with real food I don't have to gag down. emoticon I'll let you know if I find something that works!

    Young lady, it's good that you know what to do and when to do it, so you can minimize your weight gain, and head it back down to where it needs to be! I have that same problem, and I'm just doing my baby steps, and they appear to be working, so I'll continue to do them.

    What you're doing is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, and I'm on board with you, so let's kick this together and get her done!
