Day 100 of 100 -- Challenge Completed!

Thursday, August 28, 2014

I just finished writing a blog and lost it -- frustrating!

Today is the 100th day of my personal challenge. This is from my first day..."I am ready to get back on track. My birthday is in 100 days. So I am starting a challenge for myself to lose 15-20 lbs. My goal is to be at 225 or below by my birthday. Many of the following goals had gone by the wayside and they used to be habits. Time to input them back into my routine."

I only lost 6 pounds, but my daily goals did become habits again.

I have learned that it is okay not to reach my daily goals 100% of the time. Life gets in the way. I just pick up and do them the next day.

My frustration level is with losing the weight. I reach my daily goals -- eat well, exercise and still can't lose weight or or it is extremely slow. But I will not give up. I lost my quit long time ago and will continue on.

There are 126 days until Dec 31st. I am challenging myself to lose another 6 pounds and be out of the 230's. I know that doesn't seem like much, but this will also be during the holidays and the Fall is always harder for me to lose.

I also will be seeing my doctor next week and will discuss with him what I can do. I also have signed up for a weight loss coach through my insurance company.

My Daily Goals - Day 100 of 100:

1. Track ALL food & exercise emoticon we went out to eat for my birthday and I didn't track supper
2. Drink 8-10 glasses of water (minimum of 64 oz) emoticon
3. Exercise a minimum of 30 minutes emoticon
4. Eat 5 servings of freggies emoticon
5. High protein breakfast emoticon
6. Eliminate morning snack emoticon
7. Blog Daily emoticon

emoticon Sticking with it for 100 days!!
I am so proud of you!!

Make sure your dr tests your thyroid. Any time mine isn't right, losing is harder! I also think sometimes that God tests us at a plateau to see how committed we are. Also it sometimes takes our bodies time to adjust to a lower weight before it goes any lower. And maybe you put on some muscle!!

I KNOW you know all this already!! I just wanted to try to encourage you to emoticon

    Love ya, Buddy!! emoticon

Way to go! 6 pounds gone & staying on track for 100 days is emoticon

As you know pound wise my first 5% challenge fell flat, but I had several NSV that I celebrated. I've been thinking about doing a 100 day challenge as well. I haven't decided what it will be.

You are doing well. I am a 'frustrated slow loser', too. Would never win a 'biggest loser contest.'

    Have a great weekend! emoticon

Way to go, Carrie!!! WooHoo!!! Fantastic!! 6 pounds gone is still 6 pounds gone, no matter how you look at it!! And it's GONE!!! No looking back....only forward!! I'm so proud of you!! Happy Birthday, my friend!! A nice birthday present for yourself!! I see why you chose to do this challenge culminating with your birthday!! Nice!!
Now that you're back on board, good and sound, you should really have no trouble in the Fall ( even if you think it's a difficult time for you). You can do anything you put your mind to, and if you make up your mind that life just isn't going to interfere so much, it won't!
Congratulations, my friend!! Have a super nice day!!! (((HUGS)))

    You are doing really well.
I understand your frustrations but agree that it is ok if you are not 100% every day. As long as you do the best and as much as you can each day, there is no room for being hard on yourself.
