3 Day Weekend!

Wednesday, August 27, 2014

Today was my last 5am to 2pm shift for inventory prep! i go in tomorrow from 7am until 11:30am as a cashier. It looks like I have Friday off and I requested Saturday and Sunday off last week so I should end up with a 3 day weekend :) We're going to Chico to visit the Fiance's family and to go wedding dress shopping and to do 2 of our gift registries (Walmart and Sears). I can't wait to try on dresses! I know I'm going to be sad and happy at the same time because my mom won't be there but I know she will be there in spirit. I wish she were here for this special time in my life.

you will love wedding dress shopping! Are you taking the entire family? Be careful with that because family can REALLY make the experience stressful. Just remember it is YOUR dress and YOUR choice. Pick the dress that YOU feel comfortable in and beautiful. The one that gives you that special feeling. If you don't feel it for any of the dresses you don't have to pick one that day, you can try again later, don't force the decision.
When I did my dress shopping I went alone first and then took my parents. It was definitely less stressful by myself. My parents started fighting over which dress l should pick and that annoyed me. I almost picked the dress they wanted but last second they realized what I was doing and told me to pick the dress I loved. I ended up making the right decision in the end.
Anyways, have fun you will enjoy it!! emoticon
