Today marks the end of the 2nd week in my 12 week challenge with my neighbors. AND... we had two more ppl join, so now the pot is up to $500!
I did better this week, but still had a small gain. Although I pretty much expected it, dang water weight. So, next week should be great, however I AM going out of town this weekend. I've very excited but staying in range is always a bit more of a challenge when when traveling. I know I can do it though.
I got my training schedule for the half marathon training yesterday. I had to make some adjustments. They want us running 4-5 days a week, but I know me, and atleast right now, while I CAN run two consecutive days, the second day is awful. So, I'm going to run MWS and do my elliptical and some ST on Tues & Thurs. On Sunday's I'll get up early and take a walk. So it's an off day, but not competely off. I like walking though, and it will be more relaxing than feel like another workout. Now I just have to come up with a ST plan, a work out if you will. I'm going to stop my membership at the gym and just do what I can at home. I have a few weights and I can of course use my own body weight as resistance.
So, today I'm going to look online and see if I can find a ST routine, or just some ST geared to runners.
