Summer 5% Challenge - Week 8 of 8 - It's never over

Sunday, August 17, 2014

Slender, slim, thin, lean, sexy...what have you, never ends. I'm slowly coming to understand that it's a state of mind. A state achieved the more mindful we are. Kind of like A New York State of Mind (Love that song) but with more benefits. In summary, didn't hit my goal of 187 but for the 2nd challenge in a row I'm lighter than when I started and that's progress. If I keep this up come Christmas folks may not recognize me. Please Santa, do me a solid :)

Minus the cam and it's 195.8 lbs.

We had a few on the WRJ & Gs team that actually hit their 5% goals. To them and every one else that made progress. emoticon

To the team leaders a very big emoticon for the goodies and motivation.

Look forward to seeing you all in the fall.
Let's emoticon cause emoticon

Hi, Kirk, I enjoyed being with you on the WRJ&G team. Have you considered measuring your Body Fat %? Sometimes, especially as you approach your desired weight, you gain muscle and lose fewer pounds, but the end result is spectacular.

I agree with you about the "State of Mind". It is a different way of thinking. I rather enjoy imagining myself as a sexy Italian racecar, so I fuel it with good nutrition.

Progress may sometimes be slow, but at least you are moving in the right direction. Keep it up!

Haha ... I like the, "Please Santa, do me a solid."

And you're right by the way ... while you may not have hit the goal ... you are still down ... and THAT ... is most excellent!
