Whole30ing – Day 10 (Wednesday)

Thursday, August 14, 2014

I had one of those mornings where nothing sounded good to eat for breakfast. All I wanted was some kind of bread or carb-y thing. I saw the leftover Paleo brisket we had a few days ago so went with that instead but still wanted a bagel. emoticon

It is such a rainy day here today. I decided to try out a new recipe. For lunch I made a Paleo Portuguese Sausage and Kale soup which was good and surprisingly low in calories for the size of portion I had. I have been getting sick of eating eggs for breakfast so I may be having this instead. I know…kind of weird having soup for breakfast. Just ask my DH! He has gotten used to me eating non traditional things for breakfasts. LOL

I know I did not eat enough today but I was just so busy at work that the time just got away from me and I didn’t even think about eating. I had things in the refrigerator to eat and just grabbed them but I feel myself getting bored with my breakfasts and lunches in particular. Next week when I am on vacation I need to sit down and make lists of actual dishes to make. I have a ton of Paleo recipes from blogs, books etc and have earmarked things but then I forget about them. Time to kick it up and have a better game plan so my mind does not wander during the next few weeks.

One third of the way done. Say what???? emoticon

I can't wait to add dairy back! There are good recipes to make stuff with eggs/cream cheese that will be awesome for this kind of day. Don't you feel great though? I am so proud of us! emoticon emoticon emoticon
