Stepping out on Faith!

Sunday, August 10, 2014

I've been a member here since 2008 and for about that entire time I've participated in challenges. Biggest Loser, 5% and a few others. Here I sit 33 pounds heavier than when I started.

Something needs to change. Setting goals hasn't worked because as my previous blog alluded to I've gotten too comfortable being Fat. I'm ok with the excessive weight or I would do something different.

This is the start of a self correction before the end of the year.

Still flushing out what that means and before the end of the day I will have a sustainable plan in place that includes a heavy focus on diet. Something I haven't had in a long time.

Here's to my REBIRTH!!

Congratulations on your start-over! I love start-overs cuz they bring new energy and new commitment. Good luck!! You can do it! The "just 10 minutes" of exercise really helped me, as did adding fruit and vegetables instead of always taking away. All the best!

Hmm ... I started and stopped and started and stopped and ... well you get the idea.

This time I made a written list of WHY I wanted to change my weight. Then I made a list of WHAT I would need to change to achieve that.

You are worth the time, effort and energy to achieve anything you want.

Here's to your rebirth. Start with diet. Tracking food has helped me tremendously. It is not so much what you eat, but how much you eat. Start cutting back slowly, i.e. drinks. I don't drink my calories, whether it be soda, juice, coffee or tea.
