Well here I am to write the blog entry that I have been purposely avoiding. If I write this then I have to take action and move on to the next step and I am not completely ready. I completed Taming your sweet tooth week 1, which was to track your sugar. Wow!!!!! I ate SO much sugar. My sugar addiction is back in full force. It is time to do something about it, as much as I don't necessarily want to. Week 2 is to choose 3 areas of sugar to substitute. Well here is the thing I found out tracking my sugar. Mine is all indulgence sugar. I eat too many sweets that are in the form of cupcakes, cookies, candy, etc. I have already cut back on my hidden sugars the first time I did the program and that stuck. The area I struggle with is indulgent sugar. So to fix this, I have planned and found some alternative sweets choices. I planned for apples with honey and chopped nuts, coconut rolled dates, and dark chocolate. *sigh* not ready to give up my indulgence but that's the only way I am going to get better. It will be tough but everything that is worth it is. I am going through some emotional struggles right now and pregnant so it will be a challenge but I am up for it. This starts tomorrow I am going to cut my sweets down to 3 times a week.
