I have a great start on two of my goals.
I bought a 78 oz water bottle (or should I say jug) that I am not keeping at work. Just one of these bad boys is about 10 cups of water. I decided to keep it at work and sure enough each day I have hit my goal since purchasing it. It makes it so much easier. For the weekends I have a 24 oz bottle that I'll need to drink roughly 3 of to get in my water which I didn't do so hot on last weekend but I'm thinking with the momentum this week has created that I should be able to do this with no problem.
Benefits: Of course water is good for me, the baby and my fitness. But what I can feel is amazing just in the last three days. I am not feeling nauseous or dizzy in the morning which means my suspicions about it being dehydration related were probably accurate:)
Second goal, I wanted to get my FItBit on each day to see what my current activity is and to encourage me to increase it. Thankfully even though it went through the wash (thanks a lot spouse..lol) I plugged it in and it turned on so I've worn it the last two days.
Benefits: I'm being able to hold myself accountable, get an idea of my activity (or lack thereof) and have that extra push to get back into it. It is helping, I'm ready to see these numbers climb and make the rest of my pregnancy as comfortable and healthy as possible along with give myself that boost for post pregnancy.
I'm working on the other goals as well but I'm trying to not over do it as I know from the past that focusing on fewer goals until they are habits is really the way to success.
